Leaving Morocco

Morocco is a vibrant and lively country. It is a place where history and modern society are artfully interwoven. I loved my time there, but I am glad to be back in the states. The flight back was long and exhausting, but less so than our first trip, and that is saying a lot because we stayed the night in NYC coming back to the U.S.
I have never appreciated clean tap water and shower curtains so much in my life. The ability to brush my teeth in the sink of that New York Hilton bathroom was a big reminder I have a lot to be thankful for.
Seeing my dorm again exactly how I had left it was surreal. After showering and unpacking, my bed sapped all of my energy, and I think I hibernated for three days, but it's a blur so I'm uncertain. Weeks later, on this rainy April afternoon, I am finally concluding my Moroccan Saga.
Thanks for reading.
